About Me
My name is Sydney Ellen Scripps and I am an actress based in San Diego, California. However, during the school year I am located in Boston, Massachusettes where I am attending Emerson College for a BFA in Theater and Performance. I have been performing since I was 4 years old, have a background in dance, along with over 10 years of vocal training experience. Outside of theater I am passionate about marine biology and protecting our planet.

Recent Work
I recently performed as an ensemble member in School of Rock, produced by the student theater company Kidding Around, which is a part of Emerson College's Student Theater Association (STA). I also acted in a student film called Sell a Spell–a short film centering on the idea of telemarketing magic spells–produced by Emerson Independent Video (EIV).

Future Plans
This next semester, I will be studying abroad in Europe. I plan to audition for student films which will be happening throughout the semester. I will also be serving as the abroad social chair for Delta Kappa Alpha (DKA)–a professional film organization dedicated to uplifting and connecting filmmakers. As social chair, I will be planning and hosting events for members and non-members alike.
